What could possible be better than 5.1 sound? This Sony 7.2 Surround sound system! Everything is very simple to hook up, with detailed instructions, the only issue you will have is deciding where to put the 2 subs! Luckily in the manual it gives you some picture suggestions as to how to set it up. Once Setup is complete, you are already in awe of how beautiful it looks, the gloss black finish, the stylish speaker design, and the fact that you have 7 speakers and 2 subs all around you to give that cinema like sound feel.
It has 3 HDMI inputs, perfect for your Foxtel, Bluray player and PS3. A single HDMI output allows you to only need to have 1 HDMI cable running to the TV, meaning you dont need to change the channel on the TV, all is controlled through the Sony Amp!
The sound is second to none. Watching a movie, it feels like you are being sucked into the speaker system, the ground shakes as the 2 subs work their magic, and before you know it, you are in the movie! The experience is too good to miss. This system puts other systems to shame, and the price? Well, it is worth every single cent!
5 Stars all round!

* Performance is just sweet. Volume is from 0 to 70 and it's usually in the 15-25 range, hardly any need for more.
* Mid- and top-end range is so clear, clarity is superb all the way, bass is well balanced and can be adjusted separately.
* Source inputs are almost excessive, you can't run out.
* Menu system is easy to navigate and has many options, quick to set up.
* Quiet operation, can hardly hear it 1m away with sound muted.
* Very pleased with the whole system.
* If you are looking to spend $700 or so, go the extra and buy this. It will put a smile on your face.

The sony muteki is by far the loudest system i have owned and its performance is insane. Its the best for loud war movies and really loud music i have got complaints from my neighbours in the other street from it being to loud so if you want good quality for sound this it the way to go as a dj by trade this is as good as my dj gear loud clear and crisp. does not make funny nosies when is at is loudest.

This home theatre system is AMAZING.
It's so LOUD. Even at the loudest it can go, the sound is still very very clear.
The sound is also very clear when the volume is low.
It has good bass coming out of the subs and nice tremble out of the highs and mids.
This system is amazing for movies and video games.
It is well worth the price!

Pros: great rms output, great treble and bass, very clear
Cons: takes up a bit of space
